A short herb called stevia appeared in our area from South America. Due to its sweet taste, this plant was also called honey grass.

Stevia is rich in various vitamins, minerals, amino acids, essential oils and pectins, therefore it is considered very valuable medicinal plant.

Growing and caring for stevia do not present any particular difficulties. First of all, the plant needs a sufficient amount. heat and light... When growing in a room, it is best to purchase special soil from the store. This is usually a mixture of common land with peat and sand.

In addition to creating a temperature regime, growing and caring for stevia consists in proper watering. It is not recommended to overdry or flood the soil, this can lead to the death of the plant. Watering should be regular and moderate.
