The finishing of large cuts:

After removing large branches often remain on the plant unsightly stumps. These abutments must be roughly trimmed using a wire cutter, we avoid cutting large quantities of wood, rather we practice many small cuts, so as to be able to correct any little decorative cuts. After giving a rough shape to the stump using a cutter or a jin knife, trim the cut gently until the stump is completely leveled, reaching the bark of the supporting branch. At this point we cover the wound with metal film, which we will adhere to best using the fingers and the handle of the jin knife. With the pruning shears we remove the parts of metal film that do not adhere to the cut best.
